The definition of Graphic design is the art of communication, stylizing, and problem-solving through the use of type and image. Common uses of graphic design include identity
(logos and branding), publications (magazines, newspapers and books), print advertisements, posters, billboards, website graphics and elements, signs, DVD covers, and product packaging. Graphic design can also include artwork used for T-shirts and other items screen printed for sale.
John Perry Designs has experience in the majority of Graphic design applications. Over the years we have created numerous logos - including our own "JP" logo, that has remained unchanged since its creation and is, we believe, readily identifiable and timeless. Some of the logos we have worked on have required a makeover of an existing logo to freshen it up or, in the case of organizations, the conversion of a photograph of metal badge or crest into usable vector graphic.
John Perry Designs also has extensive experience in print design and publication layout, design and pre-press preparation. "Aviation Illustrated" and "PC Ace", two international publications, were entirely planned, designed, organized and prepared by John Perry Designs. More recent example of print and publication involvement has been with the widely acclaimed book
"Swift & Strong".
As you may have gathered by now, the applications for Graphic design are limited only by your imagination. We are well known for our teamwork and imaginative ideas, and look forward to bringing our enthusiasm to your organization and assist you in overcoming the design challenges you may be facing. Our experience in design projects extend from relatively simple and straightforward individual design projects, through to highly complex design programs, often cross over and integrating with other design fields.
Here is an example of a recently completed graphics project involving book cover design and layout.
Regardless of the degree of complexity or scope of the design project, John Perry Designs is there to bring your project in on budget, on time, and to the complete satisfaction of you, the client.
